Spiritual Workshop: "Sweep the Cobwebs From Your Mind"We take form in a body to learn and grow on this paradise called planet earth. How do we sweep the cobwebs from our mind to recognize the ever-present outworking of spirit?
This light-hearted presentation includes lots of original music (including some sing-alongs), discourse, a short meditation, and dialogue. (1.5 - 2 hour workshop; good piano or keyboard required. Contact me to schedule.) Memorial Service

How can I help you?
You want to go through life with more smiles than frowns. You want to find a way to deal with difficult people and situation. You want a safe space to dump out your troubles, to laugh and cry about them, and then to sift through the rubble to find different ways to look at your life. I am willing to be here for you.
I don't look at things from a conventional perspective... and I don't think you do either. We don't want to settle for "normal" or "average." There is a place of freedom we can find that is beyond labels and judgments. When you learn to choose which thoughts to pay attention to, you will learn to create an emotional climate of equanimity and appreciation for the gift of life. You're already on a spiritual path, whether you know it or not. Perhaps it's time to look at the map and figure out how to really enjoy the journey.
Some Background...
My New England Congregational Church upbringing was more like a social club than a spiritual foundation. I began my true spiritual seeking in 1972 when I found books on Buddhism and on Edgar Cayce in a small town library. I read about various Eastern spiritual traditions and the early 20th century Christian mystics in the U.S. One day I walked into a Unity church with a bookstore full of all kinds of paths: Ram Dass, Rajneesh, Thict Nhat Hahn, Joel Goldsmith, Edgar Cayce, the Sufis, and so much more... and I felt I had found a spiritual home.
A few years later, I married the minister... and began a lifetime of immersion in every flavor of spiritual seeking. You name it, they did a workshop on it at our church - from crystal bowls to quantum physics, from mantras to mandalas, from tai chi to breastfeeding. And all along the way, we ministered to people as they struggled through the challenges of life: births, deaths, weddings, divorces, chronic illness, hospice, toddlers & teenagers, job loss, bankruptcy, substance abuse, repairing cars and repairing relationships.
In 2014 my husband passed away... and my own search began anew as I struggled with fundamental questions. Who am I now? What do I want to do with the last 20 years of my life? How can I live more intuitively, from inner guidance... now that his guidance is gone? And yet, it's not gone because I hear his wisdom in my head all the time, still teaching me. And I feel drawn to being available to others as they struggle with the issues in their lives.
I offer a lifetime of observing and seeking... and teaching through song. Recently I have done trainings in Reiki and intuitive spirituality. My true certification is a willing heart, an active curiosity and intelligence, and a practical grounding in reality that is tempered by dedication to a higher purpose.
I promise to be fully present for you with my whole being. And I hope that we find something to laugh about together at least once during each session.
